I am an avid fan of potatoes in all forms but this weekend armed with Alison's tip, I decided to go light and easy so I bought a couple Japanese (yellow) sweet potatoes to satisfy the crave. She told me to replace the plate with pandan leaves to add more flavour to the already delightful snack. Not only was it tastier than before, the house was filled with the aroma of pandan leaves while the potatoes were being sauna-ed. The weather may be gloomy outside but this heartwarming snack is a sure winner if you need a simple pick-me-up that's easy to prepare.

Received a call from SIM asking me to send them a completed form and a copy of my NRIC to verify my name, as it appears what they have on file differs slightly; It's the first and last name thingy. This is also tells me my convocation is nearing! No idea on the date yet although reliable source of a classmate noted August 27th as the big day. 2 more months to go if that's indeed the date.******************************
The new IPhone 3GS is launching on Friday. Just when I was discussing with Hubby if I should upgrade (as in the physical phone) I found out later the new software upgrade has been made available to existing users too. Need I say more? Ok, enough of the whimpering; recession is still IN so gotta practise austerity. Alright. The SMS is cool because I can type my messages on either landscape or portrait format, plus I can even take a photo and attach it to my message (by the looks of the camera icon on the bottom left of the screen). There's something that says Cut & Paste which I wonder what it's all about. Another added feature is the Voice Memo and many others which I've yet to explore until I attempt to watch the video on all the pluses of owning the phone, which I can't quite disagree yet ; )
